STRATEGY TABLE ASKED notebookLM TO DEEP DIVE ON THIS EVENT

The Pendry in Park City, Utah, will host one of two highly anticipated Northstar Small & Boutique Meetings conferences this fall, October 26-28, 2025.

One of two autumn iterations of Northstar’s premier hosted-buyer event designed for smaller gatherings will take place among the yellow aspen trees of Park City, Utah, Oct. 26-28. Small & Boutique Meetings – Park City, one of three in-demand hosted-buyer events for meetings of 100 room nights or fewer on peak that are being held in 2025, will take place at the 175-room Pendry Park City.

This event is designed to connect top suppliers and destinations with planners looking for creative solutions to elevate their small and boutique-sized meetings in the United States and worldwide.

Education for the modern meeting planner

A dynamic advocate for thoughtful event design and a former Olympian with a wellness focus will both present sessions at the event.

Anthony Vade, cofounder of the new Strategy Table team of facilitators who focus on creative ways to embrace change management, will energize participants with new practices for redesigning their small meetings. Using engaging activities, Vade will help participants discover how to craft impactful experiences, overcome roadblocks and align design strategies with their business goals.

A member of three Olympic ski teams and winner of two moguls medals — a silver in Salt Lake City in 2002, and a bronze in Vancouver, B.C., in 2010 — freestyle skier Shannon Bahrke has turned her attention to leadership development, team-building and wellness. Her session on day two will tackle mindfulness, movement and meditation in the workplace, focusing on the collective health of the team.

Visiting Utah’s mountain splendor

“With our high-profile winters and long summers, fall is a secret season in the mountains,” said Tonya Sweeten, vice president of sales for the city’s convention and visitors bureau. “Visit Park City can’t wait to share it during Small & Boutique Meetings. Our exceptional venues and breathtaking landscapes create an intimate setting where connections flourish. Our intentional focus on responsible visitation and meetings make Park City even more ideal for meaningful gatherings.”

The young ski-in, ski-out resort, opened in 2021, welcomes guests to the center of Canyons Village, a potential site for visitor activations during the upcoming 2034 Winter Olympic Games. The hotel’s rooms feature a nature-inspired contemporary design, which flows into the nearly 10,000 square feet of event space.

On-site venues include the Pendry’s signature Kita, a Japanese grill-style eatery with indoor, al fresco and sushi bar seating. A fireplace, plenty of windows and more indoor and outdoor seating are hallmarks of Après, the lobby lounge, serving coffee and cocktails. And contemporary and classic Mexican dishes, both vegan and not, make up the offerings at the slopeside Dos Olas Cantina.

“Pendry Park City is honored to have been chosen to provide an ‘elevated’ experience for our friends and colleagues at Small & Boutique Meetings,” said Chris Lawing, director of sales and marketing for the hotel. “Northstar always partners with the best destinations and properties, and this event will offer the opportunity for attendees to see that there truly is more to the mountains. Meeting planners are always amazed at the ease of getting to this mountain destination — just a quick 35-minute transfer from Salt Lake International Airport. Park City will provide the perfect backdrop for this great event.”
